Senior Finance Manager

Our client is a manufacturer for components for the automotive industry. They are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager (m/f/d) to join their team.

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations, such as general ledger and accounts payable/receivable.
• Take the lead in creating the annual budget and keep an eye on performance against it.
• Create and manage rolling predictions that take input from business units.
• In accordance with GAAP/IFRS, prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements.
• Perform financial analysis to assist with strategic planning and company planning.
• Put in place financial controls to guarantee the integrity and accuracy of the data.
• Manage data security and finance system IT operations.
• Provide direction and opportunities for professional growth as a team leader and mentor in financial, controlling, and IT.
• Share financial results and insights with the board and senior management.
• Preserve connections with financial institutions, banks, and auditors.

Your Main Qualifications and Requirements:

• A degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a similar discipline.
• A significant amount of experience in top finance positions in the car sector.
• Excellent understanding of IT, controlling, and financial management.
• Outstanding analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Demonstrated capacity for team management and leadership.
• Expertise with IT systems and financial software.
• Fluent in both German and English
